Thanks! I made sure not to push myself too far, because I actually have
sprained a muscle before in the past and that was NOT fun. It’s getting
easier and I can feel my muscles strengthening. I sometimes do certain
poses at work when it’s slow to loosen up. It’s so calming. Thanks!

it’s so weird, a couple months ago when i began my fitness journey i did
the video once or twice and i couldnt get through it without stopping
multiple times and I broke a sweat which I was bathing in at the end of the
workout. I just decided to do it again today and I had no difficulty
what-so-ever!!! It’s so invigorating because it just goes to show that if
you stick to a healthy lifestyle and workout, you will get stronger and
your endurance will increase! Thanks for this workout 🙂

If full down dog to knee-in core plank is too much at first, you can
totally do the first set of exercises with your opposite knee down. You
have to make sure you are still “pulling in” and not being lazy, but it
will bridge the gap if you can’t do the full down-dog (for whatever reason)
🙂

near the ground in downward facing dog. thanks again!!!

@thedarknessofnana: great commitment! Just make sure you don’t take it too
far. Having fun is AT LEAST as important as keeping the discipline 🙂
You’ll want to stick to your practice, making your discipline a much more
enjoyable thing, feel better and gain strength and agility quicker! Have
fun !

@Devin: Thanks for your comment. “Wrists on fire” indicate an alignment
issue in the hands and possibly arms. This happens when you’re doing a lot
of weight bearing poses/exercises and still need to build up strength. What
would be an excellent way to build up strength in the arms is my video
“Building Upper body strength with yoga” by Yogatic. It also gives you
alignment techniques for your wrists. Good luck!

I love this sequence but in the second exercise my wrists are buckling
under the weight. Should I be working out my wrists or is this an upper
body weakness? My wrists are on fire

@Amy: You are not yoga unfit!! Maybe this video is too much for you now (I
certainly could not do this when I started out doing yoga!!). Find
something you like and want to do, and stick with it. When you find a
practice that mirrors the level you are at, everything will start to
change. Before you know it, you will be able to do this video (if you
wanted). All the best to you!
