Whole Foods Caught in False Advertising Scandal

With GMO foods more prevalent and more unpopular than ever, even “organic”-oriented grocery chains have been scrambling to spin the sad truth that genetically-modified ingredients have saturated the market and infiltrated virtually all food brands. Such is the case with Whole Foods, leader in the organic products market,, who’ve made billions advertising their stores as all ‘natural,’ wholesome and containing ‘nothing artificial ever.’ In the below report, Infowars Nightly News investigative team Melissa Melton and Aaron Dykes uncover the ugly facts about the ‘organic elite’ cooperating with Big Agra, the USDA and even Monsanto, all while deceptively positioning themselves to customers under false premises. Just take a look at this mural, painted on the side of one of Whole Foods’ Austin locations: It brags, ‘Nothing Artificial Ever,’ but the admitted GMO ingredients sold on store shelves could never be considered to be anything but manmade frankenfoods. These stores are perpetrating a blatant case of false advertising, which Merriam-Webster’s Dictionary of Law defines as, “the crime or tort of publishing, broadcasting, or otherwise publicly distributing an advertisement that contains an untrue, misleading, or deceptive representation or statement which was made knowingly or recklessly and with the intent to promote the sale of property, goods, or services to the public.” Whole Foods has had to admit recently that its shelves are packed with food that contain GMO

There is everything to say about a food vendor that does not display the quality and origin of their foods. I cannot test the food before I buy it, in an expensive CSI lab. I must trust the label tells me the truth. I must trust that the food industry is legislated and controlled by people with a code of honor that will seek the good of the people.

    whole foods is synthic biology

  8. Crxpert1 says:

It all comes down to doing your own in depth research of what you are putting into your body. It is not the responsability of Whole Foods to monitor and restrict what you choose to injest. The name of the store is Whole Foods not 100% non GMO foods. Even 100% organic foods aquired ANYWHERE can be around 30% plus GMO etc etc. This is just another manipulated media bullshit rant in MY opinion. Thank you for reading this.

I was thinking exactly the same. What an ignorant remark of her. All these foods and other things beauty products etc. we put into our body and onto our skin Who knows what it’s doing to us…..

  10. skinnyjuan23 says:

of coarse the guy drinking coffee doesn’t care about GMOs lol He isn’t concerned about health.

  11. grecobactrian says:

Why? They call themselves a whole foods market, 100% real ingredients, and nothing artificial ever but they sell GMOS. They deserve to be criticized.

  12. dkapbboy says:

You guys need to stop fucking with whole foods. they have awesome shit. Go to the Monsanto headquarters and talk about GMO’s. Or go yell at Piers Morgan again.

Grow food in your back yard !

  15. Cyberat Rodent says:

This maybe another “Global Warming” label to take the citizens’ attention from chemically enhanced and sprayed food, which is the mass food sold across USA vs. the minority of organic food. When they stop people from growing organic food in their own backyard, I have a great distrust in those attacking them under the “GMO” label. What is the incentive to make GMO foods, where is the money trail ??? We all know most christian fanatics oppose genetic modification and stem cell research. False Flag

  19. grecobactrian says:

@DanActs Wholefoods as a store that promotes itself to sell whole foods, organic and natural foods should not sell GMOs or at the minimum it should label foods that are GMOs. No one is suggesting they produce GMOs. The problem is that they sell GMOs

  20. DanActs says:

Why bash one of the best places to buy food. I mean, if FoodMax has a C and WholeFoods has a B, I’d talk about FoodMax.

  22. DanActs says:

The press release didn’t say that they produced GMO foods. It said that they believe the customers deserve to know whether or not stores do produce them.

  23. grecobactrian says:

LOL look at the Wholefoods employees trying to be all intimidating. It doesn’t work losers.

  24. Zan Boney says:

Its more surprising that so many people give a shit what gmo’s are. For millions of years mankind has worried about gmo’s, why start now. You want something to worry about, worry about fucking homo’s teaching your children how to spread more of the AID’s…..

  25. Zan Boney says:

All you stupid mother fuckers who get a hard on for whole foods organic shit are dumb mother fuckers to begin with. You’d buy overpriced horse shit & like it if there was an organic label on it. If there weren’t so many ignorant moron that think they’ll live an extra couple of hours by eating this overpriced crap, there wouldn’t be no whole food stores. To me whole foods is to shoprite or pathmard as starbucks is to dunkin donuts, just another cock knocker bunch of yuppies who know very little.
