Q&A: Did I eat healthy today?

Question by Ahmed: Did I eat healthy today?
Ok so Im trying to lose weight and today I ate 3 oranges,1 bowl of cereal(1/2 cup) of Honeybunch of nuts,cut up tomatoes and lettuce with a can of tuna(80 cals) with just a spoon no bread,and 2 scoops of white rice and 2 scoops of mash potatoes with chicken breast(no skin) and a small sweet potatoe. Did I eat healthy today? hOw many calories do you think that is? Any advice of how to lose weight?

No I really don't like it
U had too many processed carbs, an too many sugars..
Eat more vegetables an proteins..

    You ate healthy, but unfortunately, eating healthy and eating for weight loss are not necessarily the same thing.

    Try using the http://www.myfitnesspal.com website (or app, both are free).

    It will give you an *estimate* based on your sex, age, weight, and activity level (provided that you answer honestly) as to how many calories you should be eating a day to attain your goal.
    I’ve used it and had great success with it personally.

    Calories in vs calories out is truly what will help you to lose weight. Unfortunately, while you did eat healthy today, you did eat a lot of sugar (cereal + fruits are killers for lots of sugar in a healthy diet) which signals the body to store fat.
