Healthy Snack?

    I pick from:

    Yogurt (maybe low-fat?)
Fruit (low glycemic index fruit like strawberries would be best)
Cottage cheese (maybe with fruit preserves – there’s a packaged variety you’ll find in almost any grocery store in the US)
    Nuts (small fistful)
    Trail Mixes
    Cheese (1 oz.)
    Small Salad (watch the dressing!)
Whole grain bread with peanut-butter (don’t overload!)
Small piece of smoked salmon (maybe with cheese or blini)
Roasted tomato with kosher salt sprinkled over it (yum – awesome in the summer with greenhouse tomatoes)

If you’re thinking about packaged foods – watch out for those high levels of sodium!

You can even choose what nutrition you want from your food, and the site will list all the packaged food in each category that fit the requirements.
