A Night of Bliss Raises Over $ 8900 for Eugene Non-Profits

More than 400 friends of Bliss filled the hall of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Eugene Saturday night to participate in A Night of Bliss 2014, hosted by Luna & Larry’s Coconut Bliss. A Night of Bliss is the organic, dairy-free ice cream company’s annual fundraiser for local non-profits. This year’s selected beneficiaries were the Willamette Farm & Food Coalition and Beyond Toxics.

The event raised over $ 8900.00 from donations collected at the door and bids on silent auction and raffle items. Local businesses and artists generously donated nearly two hundred goods and services, helping to set a new record of giving.

Guests enjoyed food and drink provided by Eugene companies such as Cousin Jack’s Pasty Company, Café Mam Coffee, Blue Lotus Chai and vegan fare prepared by chef Emily Lesiak.
