Also since your health food stores are further away, try shopping for
things like nutritional yeast on Amazon. They have subscription services so
that food products will be delivered on your preferred time schedule. It’s
awesome. So far I’ve used it for nutri. yeast and agar powder with good
results.

+Nereida Filomena You can never go wrong with inexpensive grains and beans
that you can buy in bulk. In my stores cabbage is always inexpensive and it
makes a lot. Don’t bother with meat substitutes and just focus on grains,
legumes and vegetables. What are the inexpensive foods in your local
grocery store?

Hi, can you explain something to me? 2:08 you said you always have milk and

From experience, in Australia, I don’t know of any vegan cheese that is
available outside of Sydney and Melbourne. Just letting everyone know,
Woolworths brand Soy Cheese is NOT vegan. It contains milk flavourings
sourced from milk. I don’t even know why they bothered… Also for
everyone, Lentils are a cheap, easy and extremely nutritious staple for
vegan diets. They cook quickly and just adding a few spices makes them
delicious.

Am so happy I watched this video. Am off to watch more of your videos
which I just subscribed to.
One thing I like to suggest to even non vegans is dipping sauces for
vegetables. Our non vegan friends love when we bring raw fresh
cauliflower, broccoli which we serve with various dipping sauces.
My husband grew up disliking most vegetables because they were overcooked.
And boiling also results in most of the nutrients being poured down the
drain.
Grew up loving rutabaga which was shredded, steamed cooked and served with
a drizzle of olive oil and salt and pepper. Am planting more zucchini and
nasturtiums because we love stuffed squash blossoms and love the nasturtium
flowers in green salads

I noticed that in most of your recipes you use canola oil. Is there a
reason for this or is it just your preference? And also eggplant is a
vegetable I wouldn’t mind seeing a recipe for.

I’ve got a question. Probably a dumb one. Bit why is milk considered not
vegan? I mean is it because it comes from the cow? (or goat or whatever)
bit it isn’t meat… XD blonde moment sorry
