What are some fun, easy, healthy snacks to make?

What are some fun, easy, healthy snacks to make ?

Question by ALEXIS: What are some fun, easy, healthy snacks to make?
It’s boring to just dip carrots in ranch, or to make a peanut butter and banana sandwich all the time, so I was wondering if you knew some recipes for some healthy snacks that are fun and easy to make.

Thanks for your answers!

Well you could make a fruit salad, a smoothie with all your favourite fruits in it or you could cut up a load of vegetables and make up your own dip using anything in the cupboard if your bored with ranch! (that’s what I do, its usually light mayonnaise with a load of herbs and stuff in those little jars)

– and that takes care of what are some fun easy healthy snacks to make in your question

Jello is my all time favourite, but stay away from the sugar free (it metabolises as toxins, and that goes against what you are looking to do with your body).

Put sliced and cored apples on a cookie sheet. Add sugar, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Bake at 350 F until softened. Becomes like apple pie filling.

Take a banana, wrap a slice of cheese around it. (surprisingly good)

Take a piece of ham and lay it out flat, put a line of cream cheese on it, and sprinkle with chives. Roll it up, and slice it into wheels. (VERY good)

    Celery and cream cheese.

And for all your hard work in being healthy, here is a treat. This one is not healthy, but so cute and fun to make I thought I would mention it.

    Get:
Vanilla wafers, York Peppermint patties, vanilla frosting, coconut, and food colouring.

Dye some vanilla frosting red, and some yellow. Place in baggies, pressed to a corner, cut tip, and use as a spreader.

    Dye coconut green.

Put a tiny bit of frosting on a vanilla wafer. Stick the peppermint onto the wafer. Put yellow and red frosting on top of the peppermint (go off the edges a little for artistic effect. Sprinkle coconut on top let it hang over the edges. Add top wafer.

You now have a desert hamburger.

How about celery stuffed with either peanut butter or low fat cream cheese? You can also stick raisins on top. There are also rice cakes you can buy that are flavored-Being a diabetic I like the caramel ones as they satisfy my sweet tooth urge and are fat free and only 3 grams of sugar..There are also a wide variety of granola bars-too many to list.
a snack I like is apple slices that I dip in sugar free caramel ice cream topping…Very yummy.. Check out the grocery shelves..you’ll be surprised what you can find to make..Healthy french fries—Wash and cut potato into fries-dry well–spray with cooking spray and bake in oven till brown—about 375 degrees….sprinkle with a little salt-pepper-
grated cheese or french fry spices–even a little grated Parmesan cheese is good.
