I was wondering if kale can be juiced in a centrifugal juicer, or if it is
    only suitable for slow juicers?

Toss kale leaves into a blender in your favorite fruit smoothie recipe. It
will turn it a funny color, but you can’t taste it at all. Just don’t use
    the stalk part.

if everyone cooks like this, we are going to run out of water very soon, a
significant problem. way over the top washing!! esp if she is gonna boil
it! people don’t get ill from dirty lettuce – or sand/dirt, they get ill
from stress and too much worry and processed foods.

I eat kale in my salads with spinach all the time! Raw. Took it to work and
they asked for it every week for 5 weeks! Added some lemon and feta as well
    as nuts and peppers.

  17. Chihuahuaization Amelie says:

    Its cruciferous too isnt it?

  18. Reid Buckley says:

After you cook it how do you store the leftovers?

  19. AaronSnowBan says:

Cooked veg is better than raw? Come on!

  20. 2emeraldeyes says:

You can eat it raw, here’s how; you cut it, pour a little bit of oil of
choice and squish the heck out of it, you can also add a spot of apple
cider vinegar/vinagrette, and a few drops of lemon juice. Squish it up
until it looks moist and dark green, then add it to your salad. I also like
to sprinkle my kale with sesame seeds and it tastes great! :D

    Thank you 🙂

  23. tavisii28 says:

Can we do this for other veggies too? And then simply put them in the frigo
for later use? How long can they be stored that way? Thank you!

  24. broyale7 says:

Thanks for sharing. I love kale, but I usually add spices and let it cook
it for 45 minutes. I think blanching is a better way to preserve the
nutrients. Next time, I’ll blanch and toss it with my Newman’s Vinaigrette.
    Can’t wait to try it.

what? Avon Fat Furnace continue to works significantly better. You can get
by yourself precisely why, (simply run a Google search for “Avon Fat

I would think the boiling and cooking of any veg would remove rather than
    add nutrients.

  28. Cheryl Hock says:

I have been using kale in a smoothie drink I make. It also includes an
apple, fresh ginger, a whole squeezed orange and half a lemon. It’s very
good. I think I’ll try it with cooked kale rather than the raw. Thanks.

  29. soonfully says:

Hmm I dont cook my kale that way I throw it into my soups, Was looking at
the water in your pot it has a lot of nutrients in it , When I steam my
veggies I save the water for soups or broths or shakes or may just feed it
to my plants, I dont eat kale as much as you before it starts to turn so I
will dehydrate it than I have it whenever I want it. Never thought of
cooking it all at once that is a good idea I do that to my spinach but
never thought of my kale thanks for the idea and video.
