Recommended with a couple cautions,
I recommend this book with a couple of cautions, though: I’m not big on cleanses, so I would bypass those chapters, and some superfoods may be difficult to find (there’s a few I’ve never even heard of).

Smoothie Operator,
Sure, Márquez had a point. The idea of a seven-day cleanse by way of smoothies, water, and tea, does put the crimp in junk-food jonesing.
But after the book’s obligatory “let-food-be-thy-medicine” pitch, the cookbook gets down to a quick, satisfying just-the-facts-ma’am run through breakfast, lunch, mid-afternoon, and dinner treats. The itinerary takes you to the essentials: Spicy Tomato-Cucumber Cleanse, Mindful Melon, Apple-Cinnamon Power Breakfast, and more.
Along the way, The Smoothie Recipe Book makes peace between the warring fruit and vegetable juice factions (take it away John and Yoko, “All we are saying… is give that mix a chance!”).
With your newly cleansed body and a fistful of recipes, you too will be (dare one say it), one smoothie operator.
