My favorite snack is smoothies! (great grab and go breakfast or post workout snack)

    Here is my basic recipe:
-Yoplait Greek Plain yogurt (17 grams of protein and an excellent source of calcium and vitamin D). I like Yoplait Greek because it has both calcium and vitamin D, which not all greek yogurts do)
-Frozen mixed berries, mango, or other favorites of choice
-Small amount of juice for flavor and moisture

Here are some of my other favorites snacks:
-String Cheese and an apple (buy flavorful varieties like Pink Lady, or Honeycrisp)
-6 oz. Yoplait Light with frozen berries (love Yoplait Key Lime Pie and Banana Cream Pie flavors). This is also good with crushed graham crackers in the above flavors!
-Cottage Cheese and whole grain crackers (love 1-2% small curd)
    -Celery and Hummus
    -Larabars
-Corn Tortilla wrap with veggies and low-fat meat. I put a little salsa and small amount of low-fat cream cheese in mine.
-Trail Mix (whole grain cereal, dried fruit, nuts)

I also like to cut up veggies and use the following dip:
    Sun Dried Tomato Dip
    8 sun-dried tomato halves, (not oil-packed)
    1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives or 1 teaspoon freeze-dried chives
1 tablespoon olive or vegetable oil
    2 teaspoons lemon juice
    1 teaspoon red wine vinegar
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon pepper
    1 garlic clove, finely chopped
2 containers Yoplait® Greek plain yogurt
Assorted cut-up fresh vegetables (carrots, zucchini, bell pepper)

    Directions

    1. Place tomato halves in 1 inch water in 1 1/2-quart saucepan. Heat to boiling; reduce heat to medium. Simmer uncovered about 5 minutes or until water has evaporated.
    2. Place tomatoes and remaining ingredients except yogurt in blender or food processor. Cover and blend on medium-high speed until smooth.
    3. Place tomato mixture in medium glass or plastic bowl. Stir in yogurt. Cover and refrigerate about 2 hours or until chilled.
