this is good, however, be aware that vegetables like spinach and sweet
potatoes are very high in oxalates, which are the primary catalyst for
calcium oxalate bladder stones in dogs. this is a common and dangerous
condition, so just be careful. your dog can really suffer if a stone forms.
this type of stone cannot be dissolved and must be removed by cutting open
his or her bladder. very bad.

High quality? Since when are pesticides high quality?, not to mention that
you cook every bit of nutritional value completely out of the pesticide
laden veges. Rethink what you’re doing.

Good video! I have the good news for all the dog owners: You can easlily
let your puppy stay more time to 8.3 years by adjusting the food they take
in.

My oldest dog has egg and gluten allergy and is now recovering from a
terrible skin reaction from kibble food. They’re all on homemade food now
but while he is scarfing down bigger portions than the girls and is still
hungry all day!! I’ve been adding brown rice though to chicken and
veggies…

all the negative comments… not quite sure why… i made this and Fed it
to my Shepherd Akitta mix and he loves IT!. keeps him agile, energy levels
up! and he can do his job at the same time… im not sure if alot of you
know but do some research on the hard or soft dog food you feed to your dog
and see what it actually does to your animal. Thanks for the video!

Can humans eat this also because I don’t even take the time to make
homemade food for myself. If we could both eat it I think that would be
good because I don’t want my dog eating better than me lol and the time and
money this will take. I want him to eat healthy but I’m not rich. I feed my
dog natural dog food though and it’s expensive but I don’t have to make it,
I know he is getting all the vitamins and nutrients he needs and it’s
cheaper then giving him chicken or steak which I tried and it was so
expensive to feed human food. I feed my dog nutro natural choice right now
and sometimes blue buffalo just whatever natural dog food is on sale.

Do you cook the meat? Normally I’ve seen YouTube Video’s that say to not
cook the meat. I’m interested in changing over my fur baby to a raw diet
however I do have so many questions…

So with this recipe, how much do you feed your dogs? I assume that because
is all High Quality and no fillers like the Store bought processed food,
you feed them a bit less? As an example, I feed my medium size dog 2 cups
of dry food a day, should I feed the same amount?

I live with 5 dogs and all were unhealthy on kibble, fancy, organic etc…
I feed them this type of diet now, all organic (no GMO) basically chicken
and veggies, lentils, peas etc… and they are doing great. One had a cyst,
it started shrinking!! One has eye problems and it cleared up (no more
expensive meds). I rescued all of my dogs (Pugs/1terrier) and all came with
issues. I can’t say enough about cooking your own dog food as shown on this
vid!! Please do. Kibble is like processed cereal. They all lost weight and
are looking lean. For a older Pug, that’s a miracle LOL!!

regular potatoes are ok as long as they are cooked. When I make my dog food
I add 1 small regular potato as well as a sweet potato. And I add an apple
to the mix

Great video.
One of my dogs was recently diagnosed with diabetes and after seeing the
price of prescription dog food and the fact that my dog doesn’t seem to
enjoy it much I started looking into making their food instead.
Do you have a good recipe for homemade food for diabetic dogs?

You needn’t totally avoid white potatoes, use them with well cleaned skins
on. A russet potato is loaded with nutrition and if eaten with protein
digests slowly. In any event, I’ve been feeding my Boxer like this for a
long time, everyone is envious of her clear eyes and smooth coat.
