Hoffbrau Steaks in Texas, is Now Offering a Kids Fit Menu Created in Partnership with Local Texas Prostart Students

Fort Worth, Texas (PRWEB) August 26, 2014 — Hoffbrau Steaks is promoting healthy, nutritional meals for children with its updated Kids Fit Menu created in partnership with Medical City Children’s Hospital of Dallas.

Hoffbrau Steaks (http://www.HoffbrauSteaks.com) is a small group of family owned Texas Steakhouses that worked with Medical City Children’s Hospital and teamed up with the local Texas ProStart students. The Kids Fit Menu will be introduced in all 5 Hoffbrau Steaks locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and Amarillo this month. This means children who dine at Hoffbrau Steaks can be served a balanced, nutritional meal.

“In mid-June we held a private taste tasting with our City Kitty Club members to see which items they liked the best on Hoffbrau Steaks Kids Fit Menu,” says Ryan Eason, Outreach Program Manager at Medical Children’s Hospital. “Kids from ages 4-12 that participated liked all the items on the new menu. We are very pleased to have Hoffbrau Steaks involved in the Kids Fit Menu program! Opening their kitchen to allow these culinary students to show their true talents while helping young children learn and enjoy the importance of eating a healthy meal.”

New menu items on the Kids Fit Menu include smoked sirloin and grilled chicken tenders with honey mustard glaze. Smashed sweet potatoes, roasted corn nibblets and steamed broccoli have been added as side options and Cinnamon Bananas and Cinnamon Oranges for dessert offerings. Hoffbrau Steaks has also developed a new Gluten-free menu and now offers Gluten-free buns for burger lovers.
