Remember it takes 100 years for a plastic straw to biodegrade. Use a spoon or find paper straws. 🙂

I’ve been a vegetarian all my life and we eat dairy products and eggs etc, but not meat (red meat, white meat, seafood, nothing) 🙂 You’re probably thinking of vegans!

I cannot wait to try this! ^_^ I’ve made similar smoothies with banana and/or berries with soya yoghurt but never added ground flaxseeds before (I’m vegan at the moment, and want to be forever – I hope nothing changes it, and if something crops up that tries to, I’ll watch Speciesism or Meet Your Meat or similar).

Of course vegetarians eat different things, they have to, to be healthy, but she says, “I’m 100% vegetarian and the fact is, vegetarians DO NOT eat dairy. If someone is claiming to be a vegetarian and they drink milk, eat yogurt, etc. it just might be nice for them to know they are NOT leading the vegetarian lifestyle that they thought. Hopefully she will appreciate the info as someone has mislead her.HOWEVER, there is nothing that I can do about what she eats. Just putting the info out there!

  15. nawmmbr says:

Seems to me like you are taking this a bit too personally. I was pointing out to a couple of people what a vegetarian eats and doesn’t eat and the differences between a vegan and a vegetarian as this individual does not know the difference. It’s called sharing information and advice….but in the end…..”you can do whatever the FUCK you wanna doooooooo!” Circa – Hodgetwins – 2012

dude it’s not a cult, it’s a diet or what you may like to think of as a “lifestyle.” relax with your moral ego okay? being a TRUE vegetarian doesn’t make you better then anyone else, frankly it just means that you don’t eat certain things, no need for you and @TorriAnneliese to start having a battle of wits over “lifestyle choice” its a personal thing. personally, I’M A PROUD MEAT EATER MWUAHAHAHAHA!

  17. MistressKarumi says:

I don’t understand why people are asking what flaxseed is when Google is only a tab away.

  18. nawmmbr says:

Then you don’t know the difference between a vegetarian or a vegan. A TRUE vegetarian doesn’t eat any type of animal or anything that comes from an animal, milk, eggs, cream, mayonnaise made with eggs. A VEGAN, doesn’t eat any of what I just mentioned and the difference between a vegetarian and a vegan is that vegans take it a step further by not wearing leather shoes, handbags, make-up etc, tested on animals. If you eat dairy or anything from made from an animal, you are NOT a true vegetarian.

  20. ToriiAnneliese says:

Vegetarians eat that… -.- You’re thinking about Vegans.

Your hair looks lovely here, banana milkshake is my fav! And what is flaxe seed?

  23. ThatLittleBlondieXO says:

I don’t think it matters if she is eating yogurt or not, if shes a real vegetarian or not she is doing this for herself & thats all that matters there are no RULES to becoming a vegetarian, every vegetarian has different things they eat and don’t eat!

  24. nawmmbr says:

You are not 100 percent vegetarian if you are eating YOGURT, most breads, etc., things that contain dairy products. Cows are treated very badily and if your conscience bothers you about the way animals are treated, the way you usay you are, then you would not eat anything dairy. I don’t eat and drink stuff cause it’s cute. I eat things because they are healthy and morally sound, just as you say you do.
