    The subject is of great interest to me and I was expecting more information than was given in this book. There were many typos and mistakes throughout the text. I thought it was basically written in an immature manner. For example, the author often stated that he thought it would be “neat” to use the oil a certain way. I was hoping for some science to back up his claims. If all you are looking for is an interesting magazine article that has NOT been edited consisting of the author’s personal opinion and observations, then this book is for you. I consider this a waste of money.

    According to the information in this book, coconut oil must be a cure for all that ails you, however, I’d like to know the credentials that give this author the authority to write this information or, at least, the scientific studies that back his statements. Neither is found in this book. There are multiple spellings, and it is written as if it was a college term paper (but without any footnotes). I’ve heard that coconut oil has many health benefits, but I’d like to know that these benefits have been scientifically backed by multiple studies.
