We make a dish that is very similar in Louisiana. it is smothered okra,
with chicken, sausage, shrimp and tomato sauce. Very spicy and very
delicious!

I want to say THANK YOU for your recipe :*
Soup is yummy, finally i know how to prepare my husband fav dish.
And all is because of you.. THANK YOU AGAIN .. i have got sope pic of my
soup with casava fufu.
P.S. I added to my soup spoon of garlic pasta, spook of ginger pasta ( i
used all purpouse season, 3 tube of maggi, chili powder, black pepper,
smoked paprika and coleander).
I used lamb meat and tilapia medium fish. I just added 5 more min to cook
and boild all my ingrediens because amount of my things was more than yours.
ANYWAY SUPER TASTE.

Looks delicious, however I suggest cooking in a stainless steel pan,
because aluminum leaks into the food. Otherwise thumbs up!

How about frozen okras? Do I have to thaw them before put them in with the
bacon and onions?

Love it! Definitely going to try this one out. THANKS guys. I couldn’t help
wondering why you didn’t wash the okra first though? Maybe you’d done that
earlier when the camera wasn’t rolling. Here in South Africa, it appears
that only the Indian folk cook okra. I’ve always seen it on sale in some
stores, particularly those that cater for Indian Cuisine, but have never
tried it & definitely never seen it on any restaurant menu. ~Durban~
