    I’m happy she’s doing better and thriving on an 80/10/10 diet, but I
    definitely don’t think that diet is for everyone. People just need to find
    what works for them. Obviously some things are true for everyone i.e. we
    all need to get vitamins, minerals, proteins, fats, carbs, and water into
    our diets; however, it’s all subjective, some people require more of
    certain things and others require less. You pretty much just need to test
    things out for a while and find what out what you seem to thrive on most. A
    way to help narrow down would be taking your race and/or ancestry into
    account.

    Thx for the input, Fullyrawvegantaste. I have just started to move a bit. I
    sure hope it helps. When u say ” overnighr”, do u have a ballpark time
    frame, like is it going to take a year to start losing weight? I need a
    light at the end of the tunnel lol. Thx for responding.

    There are elements you aren’t fully applying. If you are committed 100%
    then it will work. Id say you have to eat more. mono meal. start your
    morning off with 1 LT of filtered water, half an hour later have 5
    Banana’s. 1 hour before lunch drink another LT of water. Lunch time have 3
    Mangoes. in the afternoon drink another LT of water. By dinner time eat a
    big green salad of Baby spinach, lettuce, cucumber, tomato, avocado’s with
    no salt or dressing just drizzle with apple cider vinegar & Nuts

    Perhaps I am operating off differing definitions, Jenny. Healing can be
    defined as ‘the alleviation of, or put into right order’. Disease can be
    defined as ‘a state of disorder, dis-ease.’ So, in those terms, she has
    alleviated and put back into order the state of disorder,disease known as
    Celiac’s disease. Just as a person who lives a lifestyle conducive to
    diabetes symptoms, can alleviate that state of disease through healthy
    lifestyle. But, she is by no means ‘cured’. =) – Kevin

    I think it would also be good to note that our digestive systems aren’t
    designed to process these foods that are the underlying cause of leaky gut,
    celiac, diverticulitis, etc, etc. The cure is by removing those toxic
    substances and letting the body heal and function on a greater level. We
    expect to get sick by drinking bleach or mercury, so why don’t we expect to
    get sick when we ingest other substances that our bodies can’t process or
    lead to a distressed state.

    I don’t think cured is a stong claim because it does exactly what we want,
    we just won’t accept that we need and should give up those foods that lead
    to distress and disease, even so with diabetes.

    not to seem unsupportive (i love you kevin & doug!) but did ashley really
    “heal” from celiac disease? she no longer eats gluten (on this wonderful
    diet), so she doesn’t have the symptoms or reactions. but if she ate it
    again, would she be “healed?” it’s important to be clear to all the people
    suffering from diseases like this, diabetes, etc.

    Congrats on resolving your celiac issues. I was a childhood celiac
    (diagnosed via intestinal biopsy around 1980) and through a few years of
    experimentation and dietary restrictions I can reassure you that there’s
    light at the end of the tunnel. Over the course of about 10 years, I
    reached the point of being able to go out and basically eat whatever I
    craved with little or no consequence. I still exercise moderation on dairy
    & particularly high-fiber grains, but they’re no longer forbidden foods!

    Good god she is cute and a flat lander too. Moosejaw, Sask home of the
    Canadian Air Forces Snowbirds flying team. US equiv to the ThunderBirds.
    Now back to how cute Ashley is 🙂

    It doesn’t happen over night, you have to be patient. You need to exercise
    if you aren’t already, go for walks start off at a low intensity and you
    will feel great

    I tried the 80/10/10 diet for 21 days. I have celiac disease. At the end of
    21 days I felt like I was going to die. I had no energy. I was crying
    continuously. I felt like I had chronic fatigue syndrome. Horrible.
