How does eating the same thing every day help people lose weight? Is that a
healthy way to lose weight? In that case, wouldn’t they need to choose
wisely so they get better nutrients?

  2. Maddi Nelson says:

frozen veggies aren’t as nutritious as fresh. honestly you can’t spend $40
on your food for the week, you need to be mixing up what your eating. as
well, you should have more fresh fruit and dairy products in there. eating
like this weekly will bore you into quitting the diet and going back to
    fast food.

great video, but omg her voice is so annoying.

  4. Samantha Abeyta says:

I really like using frozen vegetables, especially for lunch during the week
because it makes everything really simple. I’ve heard frozen is not as
nutritious as fresh. Is that true? I’ve read a few conflicting articles.
Some say it’s fine, eat the frozen and others say there’s no point on
    eating frozen.

Sarah are sweet potatoes and yams the same thing?

I love this video. I just have a quick question, i work 3-11pm for my work
cuz i work at a nursing home and i get a 30 min break but i was wondering
would it be okay to make my lunch the more nutritious bigger meal of the
day and then my dinner a bit smaller and easier meal so i can pack it to
    take to work with me?

The organic peanut butter at my trader joes is 6$ !

Awesome video! Thanks for the great, inexpensive meal ideas. I shop at
Trader Joe’s and Aldi’s all the time. They are awesome! I also just
purchased your book. Great job! Keep up the good work!

I loved this video, however i don’t eat seafood so i was just wondering if
you have any other suggestions for me 🙂 as a student its nice being able
    to stick to my budget.

Thanks I spend so much on groceries. I like your ideas and Aldi is close
to my house. Thanks for sharing.

    tips from you!!

I love Aldi’s but I moved out of state. I’m going to try to find one in my
new area and I’m going to try this shopping list (or something very close).
    Thanks for posting.

  13. Holly Cunningham says:

it is all well & good, except we have neither an Aldi’s nor a Trader
Joe’s…..here in WY food is VERY expensive because it has to be
transported such a long way…..it would be double that amount of $$$
    here!!!

  14. Mary Hubert says:

This is pretty useful advice and good quick easy work week meal ideas but…
why no grocery list/meal plan in the About section?

  15. Sarah Samuelsson says:

oh my god, food is so cheap in america.. i swear to god most of that stuff
would cost like twice as much here in sweden..

  16. droo p says:

i love this plan, thank you so much for posting this! i spend about $50 for
7 days worth of 5 healthy meals a day and using some ideas from this might
actually cut it down a bit more.
i have been using steel cut oats for breakfast instead of the quick cooking
oats because they’re cheaper and healthier. the easiest way i’ve found to
cook them is the night before: 1 cup water to 3/4 cup oats ratio, as soon
as the water is boiling you toss in the oats, turn off the heat and move
the pot to a different burner and cover it overnight. when i wake up in the
morning i add a few ounces of almond milk and reheat it for like 30 seconds
    and bam instant oatmeal!
question: you mentioned that you like mixing hummus and mustard with your
tuna but i can’t seem to find that video. can you tell me your recipe you
use? i *loathe* mayo in any form and usually just put some lemon juice and
pepper in my tuna to flavor it but it’s still pretty bleh.
    thanks a bunch!!

why is food is america is so expensive? I guess it must be cheaper to eat
    fast food.

  18. Megan Macdonald says:

eating the same thing everyday for a week. I knew there was a catch

  19. ataylorai1 says:

Great deal and haul but only if you only have yourself to feed. So how do
you feed your family (I have 3 boys and myself) for $40 a week, and still
    eat healthy?

  20. KaiiiMarie says:

I shop vegan & mostly organic, spending $40 every week. I never have to eat
the same thing every meal, every day. This is ridiculous, who wants to eat
the same exact thing every day!?

  21. TheLavenderAndHoney says:

Hi Sarah! This is off topic but I would really appreciate your advice on
something! I’m trying to loose weight and get fitter by working out, cut
down carbs&sugar and eating healthy fruits and vegetables (with the good
    carbs and fats)!

But I’m stuck on this: I know almond milk is the best milk-alternative esp.
for diets but 1 liter is almost 8-9 dollars here:( I will try to make my
own but until that should I rather drink light soy milk or low fat cow’s
    milk?

I remember you talking about soy milk messing with your hormones and
insulin and cow’s milk being bad too I think because of lactose sugar?!

I love your videos soooo much, you are so beautiful and such an
    inspiration!<3
Please please answer, I need your advice on this!!:)
Please make more of these videos, so helpful!<3

  23. Rachelle Undershute says:

I personally think this would only work if you…
    a) live/shop in the USA
    b) are single
    c) don’t like variety
    d) don’t like flavor

  24. melissa salisbury says:

you can you’re own hummas for cheaper.

  25. XxSharpieItBlackxX says:

I’ll be a recent graduate and will be on a tight budget so this will
    definitely help!!
