Ware Academy Proudly Offers Founders’ Scholarship for the 2015-2016 School Year













Gloucester, Va. (PRWEB) February 28, 2015

Ware Academy is pleased to announce it will offer a Founders’ Scholarship covering half of the tuition for the 2015-2016 academic year to one rising Sixth Grader.

The scholarship will be available for renewal to the winning recipient through Eighth Grade.

Created in 2005, the Founders’ Scholarship was named in honor of the original founders of Ware Academy, which they established in 1949.

Applicants must be applying to attend Gloucester’s only independent day school as a new student.

Candidates qualify for the scholarship with a record of academic excellence with a grade average of an A- or above, scoring in the 98th percentile or higher on standardized tests, showcasing an ability to communicate confidently and effectively both verbally and in writing, and demonstrating strength of personal character.

Applications are due April 10.
