HHI would suggest not to consume the shell of a nut.

Yes reduced, I agree, but soaking does not reduce more then 30% and
sprouting is hard to implement in a normal lifestyle. Do you have anymore
studies about other treatment such as roasting or cooking?. Also as phytic
acid is a chelator with high affinity with zinc, what about taking an
additional zinc-citrate supplement while heating high phytic acid foods?

I think vegans have very strong arguments and good points of view, however
im missing a bit more scientific studies behind it. If some intelligent
person can forward me to proffesionals in the field of nutrition with alot
of reference to studies i would be very gratefull :).

I couldn’t find any studies on nuts, however, I did find one showing that
cooking reduces the phytic acid in legumes 11-60%: “Phytic acid content of
three legumes in the raw, cooked and fibre forms” I also found a study
saying that phytic acid results in mineral deficiencies only when large
amounts are consumed, and when the overall diet is poor in minerals: PMID
14608114 So I think supplementing zinc is unnecessary if you’re already
eating a healthy diet.

Phytic acid fights cancer too, however, it’s mineral-blocking and
irritating to the gut, so it should probably be reduced. You can accomplish
this by soaking or sprouting.

I assume that you suggest to sprout beans before eating them ?? since i
understand that cooked food is not good for us humans. how would i sprout
beans ?
