Good Healthy Food To Take To School

Better yet, try Chia Seeds, Sunflower Seeds, Cashew Nuts, Avocado, Sesame Seeds Shredded Coconuts, Dark Unsweeted Chocolate, Dehydrated Cherries and Raisins and packaged rice milk.
They are even better if you could possibly mix them together to formulate/make a “power-bar” by baking the mixture to 350 F with unpasturized honey for 15 minutes, then cut them into squares or bar shapes.
Remember though, the rice milk is not to mix in with the mix, but to drink them all once it is opened. Also, the mix can be eaten without baking, just don’t put honey into it if you don’t want to make it into bars- call it a trail mix if you like for quick energy boost and a quick bite.

  1. are you serious says:

Salad. Ive been taking salad to school in a container and its really good, put some dressing and crutons and you will be fine.. and a water bottle.

I make my own fruit bowls. You pick the fruit you like and its amazing.

  3. Kirby Eldredge says:

You should bring granola for the first half of the day and something with carbs for the end to give you energy. Make sure you get the hard granola bars that are all natural and have some milk if you can? Then for the end of your day, something with carbs will give your body natural energy!

I say a sandwich- turkey, ham, peanut butter (with type of fruit preserve)
Fruit- apple, orange(to keep cool refrigerate and wrap in aluminum foil) black berries, etc
Veggies- carrots (the little mini carrot bags are wonderful) celery, snap peas, broccoli (you can cook this ahead of time and wrap in foil and it will stay warm)
And I know a lot of people like chips they are very unhealthy for you. You can go with baked chips (slightly less unhealthy than regular chips) OORR you can go with fruit chips such as banana chips or apple chips (may sound disgusting but you can get addicted to them easily)
I don’t think you have any concern for your drink but if you do you can get a water battle (duh) you can get sparkling water and wrap in foil and will say cold, you can bring juice etc.
Now if you want a snack in the middle of the day i recommend these pretzels with a peanut butter filling (they are also addicting) granola bars, yogurt (you freeze ahead of time and as day goes on it thaws and it is cold and scrumdittlyumptious XD) or you can go with the obvious 100 calorie snacks
If a cold day i say you invest in thermostat and fix some soup ahead and it will be delicious.
I hope this helps and keeps you away from the sugar bugs! Good luck! Hoped I helped 🙂
