I love chicken, apple, spinach and cucumber in a salad. With some balsamic
    vinegar and olive oil A-MAZ-ING!

i really cant wait to try this salad recipe!

my favorite salad is my own weird recipe, i just added what i like and it
tastes awesome. i love to use Baby Spinach, i always prefer it to salad,
add in some grilled chicken, shredded cheese, olives, carrots, and when i
can get away with it, hard boiled eggs and a little bit of bacon bits. and
as for dressing ranch, but what i like to do is after i chop up my carrots
i mix it in with the ranch then pour it on my salad, cause whats better
    then carrots and ranch?

I’m really partial to Cesar salads. I don’t really like garden salads. But
a tip if you are making Cesar salads adding fresh cooked bacon to it gives
it a much nicer taste then store bought bacon bits.

I’m really glad Ingrid is doing this on Pop Sugar. I’m always really happy
when I see her recipes on her channel because I love the stuff she makes.
And now I have a place where I can see more of her recipes! ^_^

My favorite salad would have to be a certain salad I get at Trader Joe’s. I
don’t remember the name, but it has this really yummy basil dressing that
comes with it, and it is sooo good! =)

If I’m buying an already made salad i like to get a chicken ceasar salad.
If I’m making my own I like to get some iceburg lettuce, spinach leaves,
    cut up celerey, uncooked
mushrooms, peperonis slices, crab meat, olives, baby corn, raisins, ranch
dressing, and sunflower seeds to top it off.

Do you think clementines and pomegranate go well together in a salad???

I’m disappointed with Ingrid! She is not creating these. You can find them
in old cook books from 2004!

Excuse my ignorance but I’m wondering why lots of vegans don’t use salt?
I’m vegan myself (became few months ago ,but been vegeterian for a year or
so) and I use a little of salt still (not much) – because lack of salt can
cause electrolyte disturbance, which can again, cause even fatal,
neurological problems. Since I drink plenty of water during the day (up to
2 or 3 L), not taking salt can result with water intoxication.
    > ” Drinking too much water with insufficient salt intake, puts a person
    at risk of water intoxication.”

I’m still new here so again excuse my ignorance.

    by the way
This looks delicious! I will prepare this for lunch today ,thank you.

Greetings from your neighbour from Croatia :)

Great chopping tutorial! I am so afraid of the kitchen! I feel like I could
work an 8 hour day and still prepare these recipes. Which is so important
    as a single parent

I love salads like this! I make something very similar with couscous. Did
you go to culinary school? You seem to know a lot about flavor profiles and
presentation, plus you have serious knives.

This looks delicious, quinoa salad is such a great dish because it can be
made it so many ways with variations in vegetables and spices. This version
    looks yummy :).

  33. Turtle Fur says:

You can caramelize onion in garlic using water or veggie broth, just saute
a bit longer and cover with a lid. Then you can skip the oil.
