But you can create your own “happy” meals that are tasty, nutritious, and inexpensive. To complete this How-To you will need: Oatmeal Evaporated or powdered milk Frozen and canned vegetables Seasonal fruits Bananas Apples Air popper and corn kernels Nuts Inexpensive cuts of meat Peanut butter Eggs Chunk light tuna Beans Brown rice Baking skills A Crock-Pot Step 1: Start with hot cereal Start the day with a hot cereal; they’re much cheaper than cold cereals. Oatmeal is a nutritional winner and very inexpensive if you buy a container of plain, old-fashioned oatmeal. Step 2: Stretch your milk Stretch your milk dollars by diluting a can of evaporated milk or some powdered milk with water to create whole milk. Step 3: Stock up on frozen veggies Stock up on frozen vegetables when they go on sale. Unless your produce was just picked, it’s just as healthy — or even more so — to eat the frozen stuff, which locks in the nutrients. Tip: Canned vegetables are another cheap alternative to fresh, but rinse them before eating because many are loaded with salt. Step 4: Eat fruits in

    You cannot spot reduce, you need to do cardio and interval training to burn fat, but it will not just burn fat on your stomach but your whole body. You can’t control where your body burns fat. 😉

    also, you can add many things to oatmeal and you won’t be able to taste it. this kinda sucks in terms of adding flavor but it works great for when you want to add extra nutrients and stuff. ex, I hate taste of flaxseed but if u put it in oatmeal you can’t taste it at all. also works well with healthy oils

    jeeez everything you mentioned is what I live by, props! probably the only extra thing I’d mention is why produce is so expensive and cheap food is not–farm subsidies. other than that, GREAT video, looking for some healthy ideas for today

    as a man you soukdt et less than 1500 a day, or you body wil start to starve and really hold on to fat more, so when you do increase you clories to maintain your weigt los, you may gain a lot back

    Dude dont cut your calories so much take up weight training with cardio and consume about 2000 calories there for you loose weight and gain muslce you’ll fill out alot better rather then be a skinny stick with a big head i mean that in the nicest way. As for you Mszjakie chu i would suggest you change coffe for green tea it increases your motabalism 🙂 and has a chillax effect 😉 but hey this is just advice 🙂

    is this an example of what you eat in one day, or just a bunch of meal examples? Like do you eat only one of the salad, chicken/fish and starch meals for lunch?

    okay i like this .. but i have a question i have little purge in my belly area can you give me advice on how to tighten it up or maybe things i could eat doing the day to help …im 4’9 i weight about 123 .. but my belly is just not tight :( its like i have this purge of fat right in the middle its not going away i workout sometimes i love the elliptical workout alot…

    hey thanks one more question. Forgot what you said in the video but which lettuce you buy? Your lettuce/dark green vegetables looks really nice. Is it Dole Spring Mix? I didn’t see anything mixed in but the green lettuce. Also, you don’t add salad dressings etc, just sauce correct?

    Thats not what I said 🙂 Most fish contain small amounts of mercury. Out of all of them salmon is actually (by far) one of the better ones, but I still don’t eat it more than 2x a week

    Terrible advice. You guys need to study nutrition before telling everyone what to eat. 60% of the cows in the U.S. carry the leukemia virus, are sick from antibiotics & are injected with hormones. Dairy is not good for you & evaporated milk in a can is even worse!
