Like many other operators, Tompkins is driven by her own yearning to maintain a healthy lifestyle. “I was highly motivated to become a Sprout Healthy Vending Operator due to a burning desire to regain control of my own future—especially in today’s crazy financial environment. I lead a healthy lifestyle and I eat health food daily, so Sprout was a perfect match for me,” she said.

Tompkins’ enthusiasm spread to her husband after he experienced some serious health issues a few years back. Tompkins explains, “My husband had Atrial Fibrillation (A-fib) several years ago, so we immediately emptied our kitchen and adjusted our menu to healthy and organic products. We wanted to try altering our food before going the extreme route with an invasive procedure. After some time of leading this new lifestyle, his health was on the mend. Today, his A-fib is gone and he does not need to take any medications but he does keep up with the healthy regimen.” Tompkins believes that the change in diet has substantially helped her husband.

When looking for the right company to join, Tompkins wanted to be supported by a great staff of people.
