wow… i need a dehydrator! thank you anji for this great video.. who knew
celery could be so useful as a salt substitute?? question: do you guys
eat only organic produce?

It looks great but I have a question. Is there any way that instead of a
dehydrator I could use my oven at 200 degrees F and dehydrate it for say 5
hours? Do you think this could work? Also, would you say the celery was cut
around 1/4 inch or thinner than? I do not have a food processor so would
need to do it by hand. Thanks bunches!

Try the same thing with tomatoes, use the powder in raw dishes when you
blend up some fresh tomatoes it will make that mixture even tastie

If I use the oven, at what temperature should the celery be and for how
long? Thanks.

hi james. anji’s hair color is a family (genetic) trait; it happened long
before she went vegan. nice try though! i saw your ted talk vid btw.

Nice demo! I don’t have a dehydrater, so what I do in the winter is take
some of the more tender and less bitter celery leaves, stick them on top of
my radiator until dry, then grind them up. I’ll bet the celery powder is
even tastier using the whole celery as Anji does.

hi james. i’ve been awaiting your response to my thoughts on your ted talk
video. thanks for sharing that my super healthy, active, and animal cruelty
free lifestyle is irresponsible and dangerous. why don’t you tell that to
someone who eats at mcdonalds everyday? or they’re too healthy to need your
message?

Anji- Why is your hair is so prematurely grey?(dead). Add 10% organic
animals and sea salt (sea weed) to your diet and you will see life (color)
flowing back in… Best, james

This was definitely an interesting video. I don’t have any of the
equipment, just an oven and a knife.

Anji and Ryan, Thanks for watching Dr Terry Wahls TED talk. Your comments
were basically: Good for Terry, she cured herself of MS with a hunter
gatherer diet. Ryan and Anji do not have MS and because Ryan and Anji eat
an extreme gatherer only diet, are basically super human… Guys,I can’t
help the poor bastards who eat at mcdonalds everyday, but you guys are very
close to to having a great message. Keep your 80% fruity veggie thing just
add 20% organic animals. Best of luck and all the best!

FYI: Swiss Chard (aka Beet Greens), per 100g = 213mg Sodium Celery, per
100g = 80mg Sodium … Beets and Beet greens provide loads of nutrition,
raw or cooked.

Anji and Ryan, Thanks for your thoughtful comments. A little history below:
Humans are a 2.5 million year old animal. 2.5 million years=2,500 thousand
years!!! All of recorded human history occupies at most only 6,000 years.
We have been hunter gatherers during 99% of our evolution! The human diet
has been a hunter gatherer diet for 99% of our evolution. To suddenly deny
the hunter aspect of our diet and promote an EXTREME gatherer only diet is
very irresponsible and dangerous.
James Richards says:

I agree our diet should be ALMOST entirely (80% to 90%) gatherer.
