I love to use the curly pasta noodles and mix it with Italian Dressing, I also add in black olives, artichoke hearts, sliced up pepperoni, garlic, a little bit of vinegar, black pepper, and parmesan cheese, and its delicious! You can put as much or as little of the ingredients as you like, and you can add other things of your own too!! The possibilites are endless =)

I like to use spaghetti, or pig tail pasta. I love vegetables, just watch using radishes they do not keep their color. I also use pepperoni cut into small chunks and cheese. Like a Colby jack, hot pepper cheese would be good in it too. I stick to Wishbone Italian dressing and McCormick’s Salad Supreme. I never measure anything when I make this, it is always a little different, but I never get any complaints. My entire family loves when I make it.

Boil a cup of orzo and drain. Toss in half a bag of fresh spinach, chopped. And a handful of toasted pine nuts. Some chopped green onions, maybe some chopped sun-dried tomatoes. And a can of garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed. Toss that all with a lemon vinaigrette. Add feta.

By the time the pasta’s done, you can have everything chopped and ready to toss.

This is one of my favorites and I have yet to find anyone who doesn’t like it…

    Bacon Ranch Pasta Salad

    1 Lb Macaroni Shells
    1 cup frozen peas
1 Pkg Hidden Valley Ranch mix
6-8 slices bacon, cooked until crisp and crumbled
    1 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup milk or half and half

Cook the macaroni according to package directions, salting the water liberally.
Add the peas to the cooking macaroni 5 minutes before it is finished.
Cool the macaroni and peas by rinsing for a few minutes under cold running tap water.
Combine the remaining ingredients in a small bowl, then stir it into the macaroni and peas.

    Variations:
Add a can or two of chunk tuna or salad shrimp when mixing in the dressing.

Chill for a couple of hours or up to overnight. Add a bit of milk or half and half just before serving if it is too dry.

My mother always used to make great pasta salad. She boiled tri-color pasta with frozen store-bought vegi packs that had broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots since they almost always had that in ther, too. After she strained it all, she would wait a little until it cooled, at diced pepperoni from the store and squares of cheese (cheese depends on personal preference). Then she would add Wishbone’s Robusto Italian dressing, swirl together, and refridgerate. We all liked it.
