Fastest Growing Frozen Brand in Natural Channel Showcases New Line at Expo West 2015

Concord, NH (PRWEB) March 04, 2015

Blake’s All Natural Foods, a leader in the natural frozen food category, will attend this year’s Natural Products Expo West in Anaheim, California, showcasing flavors from its newest product line. With this new line, Blake’s, who has the top four selling frozen protein-based meals in the natural channel, continues its commitment to creating high-quality dishes that are easily prepared.

As the fastest growing frozen brand in the natural channel, Blake’s understands what educated consumers are looking for in the meals they eat and serve to friends and family. The new line features dishes that are not only delicious and made from real ingredients, but are simple to cook and enjoy, perfect for today’s customer base that is always on the go.

During Expo West, Blake’s will sample the following meals in Booth 5501:

Meatloaf & Mashed Potatoes with antibiotic-free, hormone-free beef, garlic mashed potatoes, garden peas, and savory gravy.
Hearty Beef Stew with antibiotic-free, hormone-free beef with red skin potatoes, carrots, and rich gravy.
Chicken Pot Pie with antibiotic-free, hormone-free white meat chicken, garden vegetables, potatoes, flaky pastry crust, and signature gravy.

Meatloaf & Mashed Potatoes and Hearty Beef Stew are from Blake’s new line, which first appeared on shelves in January 2015. The Hearty Beef Stew is the newest addition to Blake’s gluten-free offerings, joining the ranks with Blake’s Shepherd’s Pie and Gluten-Free Chicken Pot Pie. The stew is not only gluten-free, but also dairy-free, soy-free, and egg-free as well. Blake’s will also showcase its classic Chicken Pot Pie, a meal that has been a staple in Blake’s line-up since the company’s inception.

“The landscape of the frozen food industry has changed significantly in recent years, and that, for the most part, is due to smaller natural brands like Blake’s,” said Chris Licata, President & CEO of Blake’s All Natural Foods. “Today’s consumers are smart. They want meals made from real ingredients that taste good and are easy to make, but it also goes one step further than that. Consumers want to develop a relationship with truly authentic brands and know what that company stands for. That’s where this new line comes into play – we’re providing more variety and truly listening to what consumers want while maintaining our commitment to natural, made-from-scratch meals just like we’ve done for the last four generations. We’re thrilled to share some of our flavors, both classic and new, at this year’s show.”

Blake’s All Natural Foods will be in Booth 5501 at Expo West. During the show, attendees can follow along with Blake’s happenings by following them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
