We eat like it is 1940 France. No processed or fast foods. 90% of what we
eat is fresh fruits and vegetables. Whole fat raw organic milk, butter,
cheese, our own eggs. Some fish but mostly vegetarian. We also can our
own beans, and other vegetables.
And I so dislike the word ‘starving’, since few Americans know what
starving is. And we burn more calories than we take in.

Potatoes are NOT fattening. There are even studies where people ate nothing
but potatoes for 60 days and lost weight. Rice pasta potatoes oats are all
not fattening it’s the fatty things you put on them. Sour cream, butter,
cheese, oil, basically fatty animal products or oil.

Most of those foods have G M o and pesticides which cause cancers. Beware
that buying food at grocery stores is just as dangerous as being fat.
Either your fat or your dying of cancer. The solution is organic gardening
and organic foods. Red hill grains in oregon has organic grains that can be
shipped via Amazon. So even people in remote areas can buy it….

Don’t buy Tyson chicken, they use gmo’s and hormones to make the chickens
grow 3 times faster than they should which is not good for you

I think you should give up the rice and bring back the potatoes – white
rice has no true food value next to a potato skin and all

I love your attitude and your videos…but I gotta speak when I see you
hold up a bag of TYSON chicken.
TYSON is just about the worst food company in the world. They use heinous
animal management practices and they treat their employees the same.
Search TYSON FOODS on You Tube and watch some of the videos.

If you move to the country and get horses and a bunch of other animals and
especially if you don’t have much money, you don’t have to diet. I have
done that for almost 9 years. I lost 70 pounds. I now have to try to keep
weight on. Please send me some pastries!

Love this! My husband and I have changed the way we eat this whole year and
we all feel better and it’s helped us to lose weight.. Our motto is, if you
don’t buy the junk, you won’t eat the junk. We always have fresh veggies
and fruits around in case we get in a snacking mood. Also, the rice thing
is so true! I’ve been making simple casseroles with chicken breast, rice,
and broccoli and it tastes so healthy!

A lot of the food you have on your table is GM you should do your research
on what is and is not GM, its no good trying to lose weight and developing
cancer from toxic food.

Hi Becky, looks like you are doing well! I’m so happy for you. I am also on
MFP and was happy to hear you were as well. There’s a lot of stupidity on
the site in the forums but also a lot of great information and great
support. Best wishes to you :-)

Potatoes are not high in calories, it’s what most people add to them that
makes them fat. They are, however, a starchy food.

Hey, Becky. Do you make you own bread from scratch? How about a video if
you do make your own? Another thing I do is to drain canned beans if high
fructose corn syrup in included. I noticed you had a little ‘blooper
moment’ at the end so I was thinking maybe you could put together sometime
a blooper video. It would be fun to watch. Thanks :-)
